Jeanette Fisher, LCMHC

Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor

I received my Bachelor's of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics from WCU in 2005. I spent ten years working in different clinics assisting individuals with Nutrition Counseling and during this time I worked with individuals from a variety of backgrounds and circumstances. Through this education and experience, I gained knowledge and understanding of the relationship between nutrition and mental health, thus realizing that my true calling is in the mental health field. Even though I no longer actively practice nutrition, my experience helps me to assist individuals with their personal journey.

I work with individuals dealing with an array of issues and ranging in different age groups from pre-teen and teens to seniors. I use a variety of therapeutic approaches taking time to find the right "fit" for each client.

I approach my clients with acceptance, empathy, encouragement, motivation and an open heart. Everyone has a voice, but that voice often gets lost in trials and struggles that we experience. Allowing ourselves to realize that we each have a voice is important to finding our inner strength as well as our inner peace. Working together with individuals, I am dedicated to helping others reach their goals, in their own personal way.
